Our Services
Our pricing goal is to be fair and transparent on price.
Our hourly rate is:
Residential $80 + GST+ Parts.
Industrial & Commercial $85 + GST+ Parts.
We have a minimum charge of half an hour during working hours. 8am-6.30pm Mon
After hours Emergency callout is at a 1 hour minimum charge. Labour is charged out at double time for After Hours Emergency Callouts.
Vehicle charge is based on the IRD’s vehicle kilometer rates 2022-2023 recommendation (95 cents per km) plus consumables, wholesaler time etc.
All Quotes are free in the Rotorua area.
Quotes outside of the Rotorua area may incur a travel fee depending on distance however we will discuss this beforehand if that the case.

Welcome to Bay Wired Electrical. Founded in 2021 by Troy Parry a Qualified Industrial Electrician with 8 years of experience. And Sarah. A marketing and strategic management student.
We started Bay Wired Electrical because Troy noticed a growing problem of customers feeling in the dark from their past Electrician’s. from waiting half a century for invoices or communication. Wiring that really didn’t impress. To customers feeling outright Ghosted!
Troy being the charming lad he is vowed to fix this and wanted to bring transparency with free quotes so you’re never in the dark about the bill. We know a thing or two about top notch communication; Being of the generation continually slammed as “always on their phones” it's now an advantage to us! Sarah with the tech-savy know how won’t leave you waiting half a century for an invoice. Shotty wiring? We provide quality by using quality parts and workmanship to last.
Together this duo wanted to set out to create an Electrical company that won’t leave you with only one power point to a room and prices of them being gold plated. But a company that cares to think and ask how many you want along with being transparent on price and upfront on communication.
